A real estate conference on OPPORTUNITIES AND LEGACY OF GLOBAL EVENTS ... plus a site-visit to the Olympic Park for the first one hundred who sign up

ULI “Creating a Legacy” conference will bring together 250 government and industry leaders from around the world for a two day programme exploring opportunities and legacy of large scale events.  London Olympics and other global events will act as case studies providing the valuable lessons learned on maximising the incredible economic and regenration opportunities that present themselves to the city as well as the private sector.

Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, will be the opening keynote (subject to re-election) alongside industry specialists including the conference chair, Dame Judith Mayhew Jonas, Chairman, London & Partners; Stuart Corbyn, Chief Executive, Qatari Diar Delancey Athletes Village, Dennis Hone, Chief Executive, Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), Valentino Castellani, Former Mayor of Turin and Zilai Tang, Head of Dept Urban Planning, Tonji University, Shanghai. Dame Judith Mayhew Jonas, DBE
Chairman, New West End Company & Chairman, London & Partners

In her current role Dame Judith plays a key part in managing and promoting the interests of the district, developing and driving forward the commercial opportunities for London’s West End.

Born and educated in New Zealand, Dame Judith moved to the UK as a lecturer in law at King's College, University of London. Since then she held many notable positions including Special Adviser to the Chairman at Clifford Chance, board member of Merrill Lynch in New York, Chairman of the Policy and Resources for the City of London Corporation, Deputy Chairman of the London Development Agency and others.

Dame Judith currently chairs the London New York Dialogue and is a Vice President of London First. She was appointed Dame Commander of the British Empire in the 2002 Queen's Birthday Honours list for services to the City of London.
