The 8th Planning Awards
ECTP-CEU is delighted to announce that entries are now invited for the 8th series of the European Urban & Regional Planning Awards.

The European Urban and Regional Planning Awards, conferred by the European Council of Spatial Planners, give recognition to planning strategies, schemes or developments which make an outstanding contribution to the quality of life in urban and rural regions of
Europe.
We would like to draw your attention to key features of these Awards. Each ECTP-CEU member organisation organises and co-ordinates entries from its own country, whether by presenting the winners of its own national Awards or through the work of a selection committee. An entrance fee is payable, on a sliding scale as set out in the attached Call. The closing date for nominations has been extended until 30 March 2010, which means that ECTP-CEU member will need to conclude their national selection by mid-February 2010 at the latest, to ensure safe arrival of the entries in the ECTP-CEU office in
Brussels by the closing date.
Entries may be submitted only by the national Planning Institutes and Associations of ECTP-CEU. Nominations from individuals are not eligible. Individuals wishing to have projects, etc. considered should submit their nominations to the local selection process as early as possible. The Awards will be presented at a Ceremony in
Brussels in autumn 2010, in association with the ECTP-CEU General Assembly.
